this is what my kitchen table looks like when I am prepping 2 days of meals. I stick everything on a single shelf that is claimed as only mine of whatever my "legal" foods are. Currently I am on a 21 day SUGAR detox but you can do this with any meal prep for any diet, WW, SBD, CLEAN and so on.
I only do 2 days at a time because I like to make use of my leftovers from the rest of the family and the produce stays fresh.
MY personal plan this time:
Upon waking I juice a lemon, turmeric, and ginger and pour this elixir into hot water with a squirt of clear stevia. This is a great anti inflammatory drink! I have at least 2 cups of tea during the day and actually adding in the tea bags from the cabinet help remind me when I open that fridge door that I might be thirsty instead of hungry.
Breakfast and all day I make the most of proteins. Here you see 2 eggs to scramble with some fresh spinach leaves. .I like a little salsa not pictured to go on them. I drink a v-8 with this meal.
Each meal I have a probiotic to help build up and repair the damage my gut needs from rich prepared foods and other junk.
Mid morning I have cut up carrot sticks with 2 TBSP hummus
Lunch I have 3 ounces whatever protein is in the house with 2 cups vegetables and a tsp of coconut oil to sauté it all up with . I do the same at dinner but add 1/2 cup quinoa here and a side green salad with olive oil and vinegar dressing.
In the afternoon I have an apple ( one a day is allowed on level 1 sugar detox) with about 7 almonds.
Dessert is 1/2 cup each of sugar free jello and greek yogurt.
Non sweetened Seltzer keeps me happy all day.
I hope this helps you see how when we have to lay it all out in front of us what good choices are so apparent and all the food that can't sneak into our day unplanned to sabotage what we really want!
